Quick and Easy Pennsyltucky Apple Crisp!

Quote of the day: Today is a Perfect Day for a Perfect Day!

The other day we all went Pennsyltucky apple pickin. So with all these fabulously fresh picked apples I had to make an Apple Crisp. And there is nothing like the smell of a freshly baked Apple Crisp throughout the house. Yum...So good! But I'm not going to lie. I hate to cook. I absolutely love to eat but really don't like to cook. That's why when you get married make sure you pick someone who loves to cook. It's the way to go. Lol! But when I do cook I make sure everything is quick and easy.
This recipe is right up my alley! Quick and easy! It's one of my mom's recipes and I think she got if from my Aunt Marion. It's a pass me down recipe.

4 apples, make sure they are the baking kind
cinnamon
1 cup of sugar
1 cup flour
1 egg
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 stick of butter
(double the recipe for a larger batch)
First, peel 4 apples. Use an apple slicer, it's so much easier.
Line a 9x9 baking dish with the apples.

Sprinkle apples generously with cinnamon.
In large bowl mix flour, sugar, and egg together with a fork. Make sure it's crumbly.

Sprinkle the crumble topping on apples. Then cover the apples with the melted butter. Make sure you get it in the corners and edges.
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes until light brown.

That's it! Oh, yum can't you just smell it?
Your very own fabulously smelling, quick and easy, apple crisp!
Yummm...Don't forget your favorite vanilla ice cream!
I bet everyone loves it!

This would be the Perfect Day to bake one.
Let me know how you made out!

Have a great day!
Kim :)
